NEWS: DepiMedia and TV BRICS highlight the successful conference in Parma focused on expanding BRICS cooperation.

DepiMedia and TV BRICS gave extensive coverage to the international conference titled "The Expansion of BRICS Cooperation: Future Prospects?" held at the University of Parma. The event, organized by the BRICS Research Group at the University of Parma in collaboration with the BRICS Lab of the Eurispes Institute, attracted attention from both Italian and international experts and academics.

The main goal of the conference was to analyze the impact of new member states joining BRICS on the group's internal and external cooperation, as well as to examine its role in shaping a new multilateral international order and contributing to global sustainability. Special focus was given to the actions of the New Development Bank (NDB), which aims to promote inclusive and coordinated development among member countries.

Among the notable speakers, Gianmatteo Sabantino, an associate professor at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (China), highlighted how BRICS is helping to define alternative regulatory models for transnational economic cooperation, balancing national strategies with the bloc's collective goals.

The conference provided a key opportunity to reflect on the future evolution of BRICS, particularly in light of new members such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates, who will officially join the bloc on January 1, 2024.

The media success of the event underscores the importance of such initiatives and points to their increasing significance in the future.
